Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Cardiff is seeking a Building Surveyor with experience on Network Rail frameworks to ensure quality and compliance in maintenance projects. The ideal candidate should hold STE5 and PTS certifications along with RICS accredited qualifications. This opportunity offers a daily rate of £410 inside IR35 and has a duration of 6 months with the potential for extension.

Qualifications

Are you a Building Surveyor with experience working on Network Rail frameworks?

Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to work on the delivery of Network Rail frameworks across the Wales & Western route. The ideal candidate will have STE5 and a valid PTS.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will have experience carrying out asset condition surveys, updating records, and supporting engineers with maintenance plans and priorities. They will also have experience monitoring works, checking quality, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

• Previous experience working as a Building Surveyor on Network Rail frameworks
• Understating of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and Planning & Consents Processes
• Understanding of track safety, railway possessions and rail industry construction requirements
• STE5
• RICS accredited qualifications - HNC / HND or equivalent
