A leading consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to assist with various surveying projects. Responsibilities include site surveys, preparing tender information, and professional consultancy work. Qualifications

  • BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent required.
  • At an advanced stage for the APC Final Assessment with RICS or CIOB, or recently qualified.
  • Strong AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills are essential.

Job description

Assist with developing detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues.

Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys & defect analysis).

Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information.

Assist with administering building contracts.

Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, PW work, dilapidations, Access Audits & FRA’s).

Liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external).

What we’re looking for:

  • BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
  • At an advanced stage for the APC Final Assessment with RICS or CIOB, or recently qualified
  • Ability to establish a good working relationship with Clients and colleagues
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
