A reputable surveying practice is seeking a Building Surveyor to carry out residential surveys and valuations. The ideal candidate will be MRICS or AssocRICS qualified with at least 2 years of experience in residential surveying. Responsibilities include managing workload independently while delivering accurate and professional reports. Our client is an established and reputable surveying practice delivering high-quality RICS Level 1, 2, and 3 Home Surveys for residential clients. Their team values accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional client service, providing a supportive environment where surveyors can thrive and continue to develop their expertise.

As a Building Surveyor, you'll be responsible for carrying out residential surveys and valuations to assess property condition, identify defects, and deliver clear, professional reports for clients. You'll manage your own workload and represent the business with professionalism and integrity.

Are you the right person for the job?
  • MRICS or AssocRICS qualified (essential) – or direct entry via MCIOB / MCABE
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in residential surveying (desirable)
  • Proven experience producing RICS Level 2 and Level 3 reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Able to manage your own workload independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
