Building Services Engineer (Mechanical Bias) – Education Estate, London. Join a leading education provider in London as a Building Services Engineer. Hands-on role covering HVAC, boilers, chillers, and plant maintenance. Perfect for engineers with college, university, or large estates experience.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, fans, chillers, plant rooms, and plumbing.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults; supporting catering equipment.
  • Supervising contractors and ensuring full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.
What Were Looking For
  • City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Heating & Ventilation / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC, boilers, chillers, and plant maintenance.
  • Good electrical knowledge and plumbing/pipe fitting skills.
  • Strong record-keeping and compliance awareness.
  • Previous experience in colleges, universities, or large estates highly desirable.
