You’ll assist with daily work orders, prioritising tasks with the Maintenance Operative, plus carrying out minor repairs and decorating tasks in both communal areas and residents’ homes. From replacing light bulbs to providing emergency support for water leaks, you’ll keep things running smoothly.
You’ll support the team in meeting compliance standards by completing worksheets, raising work orders, and reporting non‑compliance. You’ll also assist with energy‑saving initiatives and ensure adherence to the Letting Code of Conduct.
You’ll conduct visual checks and tests on life safety equipment, ensure proper use of PPE and safety signage, and keep work areas clean and safe. You’ll follow all UK Health & Safety legislation and dispose of waste in line with company policies.
You’ll escort maintenance engineers on‑site, log their visits, and assist with planned maintenance activities to keep everything on track.
You’ll help manage tools and critical spares, conduct regular inventory checks, and raise stock requests to ensure supplies are always available.
You’ll keep plant rooms, risers, and maintenance areas clean and organised, assist with waste management, and carry out occasional litter picking in external areas and car parks.
You’ll be a role model for our values, bringing a proactive, positive attitude to everything you do. You’ll ensure effective communication and contribute to a motivated, engaged team.
