Building Control Surveyor - Bedfordshire
Salary: £41,042 - £44,296 + £6,500 Market Rate Supplement
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (37 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (home-based, site visits, and local office attendance as required)
Are you a Registered Building Control Surveyor (Class 2A or 2B) looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a proactive Building Control team within a forward‑thinking local authority in Bedfordshire, helping to deliver safe, sustainable, and compliant buildings across a diverse mix of developments.
You’ll handle a varied caseload of Building Control work, including plan assessments, site inspections, regulatory compliance, enforcement, and dealing with dangerous structures. Working closely with homeowners, developers, architects, and contractors, you’ll ensure all projects meet Building Regulations and safety standards.
The role offers a hybrid working model, combining home working with regular site visits and periodic office collaboration. You’ll be part of a supportive and experienced team that values technical excellence and continuous learning.
