Building Control Surveyor - Bedfordshire
Salary: £41,042 - £44,296 + £6,500 Market Rate Supplement
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (37 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (home-based, site visits, and local office attendance as required)

The Role

You'll handle a varied caseload of Building Control work, including plan assessments, site inspections, regulatory compliance, enforcement, and dealing with dangerous structures. Working closely with homeowners, developers, architects, and contractors, you'll ensure all projects meet Building Regulations and safety standards.

About You

• Degree (or equivalent) in Building Control Surveying or a related discipline
• Registered with the Building Safety Regulator as Class 2A or 2B
• Proven experience across domestic and small commercial projects
• Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
• Pragmatic, customer-focused, and able to provide clear, solution-driven advice
