Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Bristol is seeking a Maintenance Operative to manage minor repairs and basic plumbing and electrical tasks across two mental health hospitals. Candidates should have experience in similar environments, though it is not essential. The position requires an insured vehicle for business use and works during standard hours, Monday to Friday. A DBS check will be required for this role. Competitive pay rate of £15-16 per hour is offered.

Job description

RG Setsquare are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative on one of our Bristol healthcare contracts.

• The majority of the work will involve making good/minor decorative repairs. There will also be some basic plumbing and basic electrics ie changing a lamp or switch
• The position will be working across 2 hospitals in Bristol. Both are mental health hospitals so someone with experience in a similar environment would be good but its not essential.
• They will work a whole day at either site so they wont be travelling back and forth one site to another during the day.
• Own Vehicle needed for transport. This will need to be insured for business use.
• Working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
• Position will be subject to a Standard DBS check.
• Rate to candidate £15 - 16p/h PAYE
