Job Advert: Temporary Brewing Technician (8-Month Contract)

Location: Unicorn Packaging Centre, Bredbury, Stockport

Start Date: Early November 2025

Contract End: June 2026

Salary £28,000 - £34,000 doe

Hours of Work: 40hr week and 6am till 2pm and 2pm till10 pm working 1 in 5 weekends, weekends are 4hrs on the Saturday and 4hrs on the Sunday.

We’re looking for a hands‑on, enthusiastic Brewing Technician to join our Brewing Team on a temporary basis, covering an internal secondment. This 8‑month opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for beer and brewing, who enjoys working as part of a dynamic, collaborative team in a fast‑paced production environment.

About the Role

As Brewing Technician, you will support and deputise for the Shift Brewer, helping to lead and develop the brewing team. You will be involved in all aspects of the brewing process — from raw material handling right through to packaging.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Operating brewhouse and cellar equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitoring fermentation and performing quality checks
  • Maintaining accurate records and process documentation
  • Cleaning and sanitising brewing vessels, tanks, and other equipment
  • Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
