TeacherActive is proud to be working with a day nursery with their search for a Breakfast Club / After School Club Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity work with a warm and positive day nursery in Derby, who focus on child engagement with a therapeutic approach. The setting looks after children in both indoor and outdoor areas are split into age-appropriate sections and provide sensory enhancing activities. The nursery ensures children are able to challenge themselves and take risks in a safe and secure environment.

You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be required to work across all rooms, supporting children from ages 6 weeks up to 4 years. In a time of growth for this Nursery, career progression opportunities are also available for the right Nursery Practitioner.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have :
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability
