We’re on a hunt for a brilliant Brand & PR Lead to help tell our story far and wide.

This role is a 12-month maternity cover sitting at the heart of our Marketing team where you’ll lead our brand communications shape campaigns and make sure everything we put out into the world sounds looks and feels like Pizza Pilgrims.

You’ll be our brand gatekeeper championing our tone of voice driving excitement around new openings and helping increase footfall and profit across our pizzerias all while keeping our independent spirit strong.

What the role is all about

This role brings together Brand PR Comms and Campaigns working closely with the wider Sales & Marketing team to deliver work that sparks brand love drives sales and builds loyalty.

From shaping big campaigns to getting stuck into the detail you’ll make sure our story is told consistently creatively and confidently at every touchpoint.

What you’ll be doing
PR & Brand Comms
  • Lead copywriting for brand comms across website newsletters PR and wider channels
  • Act as the voice of Pizza Pilgrims ensuring everything sounds like us
  • Work closely with PR agencies to protect and grow our brand reputation
Campaigns & Project Management
  • Own campaigns from strategy through to delivery
  • Communicate our values purpose and personality at every opportunity
  • Balance creativity with commercial thinking to drive footfall and sales
New Pizzeria Openings
  • Drive excitement around new openings from pre-opening buzz to creative stunts and launch
  • Lead pre-opening marketing plans announcement comms and launch activities
  • Manage agencies and get hands‑on supporting Slice Days and opening parties
Brand Gatekeeper
  • Be the sounding board for what looks and feels like Pizza Pilgrims
  • Oversee brand consistency across photography menus emails posters decks and internal comms
  • You won’t be expected to design everything yourself but strong creative judgement is essential
Eye for Detail & Partnerships
  • Ensure our brand is represented brilliantly across all external touchpoints
  • Manage relationships with external agencies influencers photographers videographers and partners
A bit about you
  • You’re a confident storyteller and strong copywriter
  • You understand PR and know how to manage agencies effectively
  • You have experience building and delivering marketing strategies
  • You’re comfortable managing multiple projects and senior stakeholders
  • You have a great understanding of the hospitality/ restaurant market and understand what drives footfall and brand love
  • You have a great eye for design detail and brand consistency
  • You love having the freedom to innovate while staying true to the brand
