BMW UK, Farnborough – Brand Communications Assistant- 13 Month Placement (July 2026)

We are looking for 6 Interns to be a big part of the Brand Communications team by supporting with the delivery of effective Marketing Communication solutions, in line with the BMW Marketing strategy, to support the brand and sales objectives. What awaits you?

• Support development and planning for all related activities as required, including project managing bespoke elements to ensure professional planning and execution of all Marketing activities. This includes Advertising, Websites, Social Media, Retailer Marketing and Customer Data, as well as working with other departments and agency partners to ensure our activities deliver the absolute maximum across the business.
• Close collaboration across multiple teams – both within the Brand Communications team, other key third parties and stakeholders. The world is your networking oyster.
• Assist with the communication and amplification of experiential activities working closely with Brand Experience, Press and Internal Communications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrable project management ability including planning / organisation skills, delivery to deadlines with the ability to make decisions and operate on own initiative.
• Passion for the automotive industry and understanding of working in a premium brand environment.
• Excellent organisation / management and budget planning skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
• The ability to think creatively, analytically, and strategically.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure activity is integrated across and consistent with overall marketing plan.
• A full driving licence – with a few years driving experience under your belt. You may be required to travel – sometimes solo in a BMW Group vehicle – to venues and events.
