What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a Brand and Communications Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a dual-role position with responsibilities spanning both EMEA and global internal communications. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning internal messaging enhancing employee engagement and supporting the delivery of corporate communications across the region and globally working closely with the group companies and the global HQ members in Tokyo. You will contribute to a variety of internal initiatives working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver internal events including the annual EMEA Brand & Communications meeting and Town Halls.
• Distribute executive communications including drafting and distributing messages from senior leadership.
• Maintain and update key corporate materials such as the EMEA One Hitachi video regional fact explainer documents and corporate presentations.
• Support HR team with the induction brand training for the new employees in EMEA region.
• Update the HEU intranet and support the migration to the global Hitachi Connect platform.
• Support global internal communications initiatives including planning and creating CEO communications global intranet content planning events such as the Global Leaders Kick-off Meeting internal awards programme planning and global employee campaign activation.
