Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on supporting sales on the shop floor and enhancing the customer shopping experience through friendly and welcoming interactions and a baseline knowledge of our products and services.
  • Support the team on an operational basis: work the tills, take bookings for the Masterclass Programme, handle incoming deliveries and restock shop floor product storage.
  • Maintain the store, including procedures for caring for shop floor elements, back‑of‑the‑house items such as resalting dishwashers and properly caring for the mosaic floor at our historic flagship premises.
  • Cover the tea bar on the shop floor, brew, serve and explain the wide array of blends, single‑origin and estate teas we offer to customers.
  • Run Masterclasses in the bespoke Tasting Room – these two‑hour sessions require strong knowledge of tea, its history, Twinings history, and skills in oration and public performance.
  • Facilitate, help organise and cater bespoke experiences, including provisioning materials, designing event menus or orders of serve, and liaising with the broader Twinings team in preparation of the event.
