Job summary

LKQ is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to lead a busy Bolton branch across retail, warehouse and fleet functions. You will drive customer service, operational excellence and stock control while developing a high-performing team.

You will coach colleagues, manage performance, recruit where needed and ensure safety and compliance. A UK driving licence is required and the role offers strong career growth within the LKQ network.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Good knowledge of stock control and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations across retail, warehouse and fleet to deliver safety, efficiency and outstanding service.
• Coordinate resources for smooth operations and meet customer service SLAs.
• Drive operational excellence by enforcing standards, policies and procedures.
• Manage stock accuracy, inventory control and stock takes.
• Oversee click & collect and delivery operations and fleet readiness.
• Coach, motivate and develop colleagues; participate in recruitment and onboarding.
• Create a positive, inclusive culture and build a multi-skilled team.
• Monitor KPIs and data to identify improvement opportunities and drive growth.
