Job summary

LKQ in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Duty Manager to lead our branch operations across retail, warehouse and fleet. You will drive performance, coach teams, and ensure outstanding customer service while upholding safety and compliance.

You will manage stock, support logistics, and contribute to branch growth with a focus on operational excellence. Experience in retail/warehouse leadership and a UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Good knowledge of stock control and operational processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence business performance.
• Confidence working with operational systems and reporting tools.
• A flexible approach and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Experience with fleet operations and inventory management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• As Duty Manager, lead day-to-day branch operations across retail, warehouse and fleet.
• Ensure safety, efficiency and customer service standards are met.
• Coach and develop colleagues; run daily team briefings.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
• Drive branch sales, control costs and monitor KPIs.
• Maintain stock accuracy and oversees returns, warranties and logistics.
• Support Click & Collect and delivery operations.
• Ensure fleet readiness and compliance.
