Overview

Lawes is currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Branch Director to lead a growing and ambitious team in Manchester. You will manage the branch with full accountability for financial performance, client growth and regulatory compliance. The role will focus on driving profitability through retention, new business and cross-selling opportunities, while ensuring robust risk management and adherence to FCA standards.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of local P&L

  • Generating new business and cross-selling
  • Oversee all aspects of branch trading – identify opportunities and market trends
  • Lead Risk Management and Quality Assurance
  • Contribute to regional development plans
  • Act as an FCA Certified person and uphold Consumer Duty principles
  • Inspire and motivate the branch team to deliver strategic goals
Day-to-day
  • Drive recruitment and retention
  • Support career development through training, coaching and succession planning
  • Build strong relationships across the region and wider company
  • Maintain systems and controls to manage risk and meet regulatory obligations
Experience
