Job summary

Nationwide in Blandford Forum is looking for a Customer Representative to support customers in person, over the phone and online, handling everyday transactions and queries with care and integrity. You’ll be a key part of the branch team, helping customers choose banking services and digital tools that suit their needs.

You’ll work face to face on the high street to keep banking accessible locally, with training over the first three weeks and a 35-hour week, Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is beneficial.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to explain banking products clearly.
• Comfort using digital tools and services to support customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help with banking.
• Handle transactions and queries accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that are right for them.
• Work with colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent customer service during peak times.
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
• Help keep face-to-face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street.
