Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative for the Wimborne branch. You will welcome customers in person, over the phone and online, helping with everyday banking tasks and guiding them to digital tools that simplify money management.

No banking experience is required, but a passion for great service is essential. This full-time role (35 hours/week) includes comprehensive training and a 45-minute commute window to the branch.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, patient and ability to listen to customer needs.
• Comfortable with technology and transactional banking processes.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and digital tools to manage their money confidently.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues to deliver excellent service, even at peak times.
• Act with integrity to protect customers and Nationwide, following processes and escalating issues when needed.
