Job summary

Nationwide in Wimborne Dorset is hiring a Customer Representative to support customers in branch, over the phone and online, delivering friendly service and practical banking guidance. You will welcome customers, handle transactions, answer queries, guide them to suitable products and digital tools, and work with colleagues to maintain calm, efficient service.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service is beneficial but not required.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Comfort with using digital channels and banking tools.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer friendly help with banking.
Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
Guide customers through banking products and services that suit them and help manage money with confidence.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, even at peak times.
Follow established processes, identify potential issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers.
