Overview

This is a role as a Brain Injury Support Worker with Libertatem Healthcare Group in Prenton, Birkenhead. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 person-centred support to a sociable client with brain and orthopaedic injuries, helping them live life to the fullest by accompanying them to activities such as Liverpool FC home games, live music, and the theatre. The role offers flexible working hours of 20-30 hours per week, and a competitive hourly rate of £15.

Responsibilities
  • Support with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks
  • Administer medication and monitor wellbeing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Accompany to appointments, social activities, and events
  • Keep accurate records and liaise with healthcare professionals

  • Outgoing and sociable, with a great sense of humour
  • Loves live music, theatre, and football (especially Liverpool FC)
  • Regularly attends concerts, matches, and local events
  • Shares his home with a dog, cat, bearded dragon, tropical fish, and tarantulas—confidence with animals is essential
