A leading healthcare provider seeks a dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker in Whitchurch, Shropshire. This role requires compassion and patience, providing support for a young client recovering from significant injuries. Key responsibilities include personal care, administering medication, and engaging the client in activities, including equestrian engagement. Candidates must have relevant experience, a driving license, and enjoy working in a friendly and supportive environment.
We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Whitchurch, Shropshire.Our client is in her late teens and after suffering a road traffic accident in her infancy, she struggles with executive function, processing, memory, attention, fatigue & mood problems. Despite this, she is a very active young lady who loves horses.
The successful applicant will need to be comfortable with horses as well as know how to swim. The support worker will also need to have a full UK drivers license with access to their own vehicle.
Pay Rate:£15-16 per hour
Working Hours:
1 afternoon per week 2pm – 6pm
Alternate Saturdays 10am – 4pm

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
