Job description

Sugarman's Children Services has teamed up with Treasure Boxing Club. We are seeking an experienced boxing coach to deliver sessions every Tuesday in Southall (UB1).

As a boxing coach you will need to monitor the children; enforce club rules; maintain discipline, monitor behaviour, and resolve issues.

We are looking for a compassionate and patient boxing coach who is looking to work with vulnerable children and help young adults to overcome barriers to learning and achieving their full potential.

About the Boxing Coach role
  • Experience: Essential
  • Hourly Rate: £25 per hour (if you hold an England Level 1 Boxing Qualification)
  • Location: Southall
  • Every Tuesday from 15:15 to 16:15
  • Age groups: 6 - 13 years of age
  • Boxing Club is run by Treasure Boxing
Key responsibilities
  • Log Attendance
  • Review and record all progress
  • Be supportive and committed to support the child with progression
  • Be a positive and motivational role model for all the young adults
  • Provide a fun and safe environment for all
  • Maintain a calm approach even when under pressure
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Boxing Coach
  • Qualification in Boxing Coaching
  • Full clean DBS preferably on the update service
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Compassion and understanding of different children backgrounds and their needs
