Job description
Position Summary

Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman is seeking a full‑time Bookkeeper, ideally with entertainment/touring experience, to join our London office. The role will be based in London with a hybrid working model following a 3‑month probation. The Bookkeeper will compute, classify, and record financial transactions to ensure accurate financial records for assigned clients.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Raise sales invoices.
  • Maintain QuickBooks Online ledgers and an electronic filing system in Teams.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform credit card and bank reconciliations.
  • Post petty cash and tour manager floats.
  • Create payment packs online ready for manager approvals.
  • Post director’s expense claims.
  • Post and reconcile inter‑company accounts on QuickBooks Online in local currencies.
  • Revalue foreign currency balances at month‑end.
  • Assist account managers as directed, including:
    • Preparing VAT return packs.
    • Assisting with the preparation of tour accounts.
    • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
    • Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts.
    • Assisting with gathering information for personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Perform any other duties as required by your line manager or senior team, proportionate to your level and remit.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a bookkeeping position, ideally within a business management firm.
  • General accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (in‑person, on the phone, and via email).
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Keenness for details.
  • Ability to shift gears quickly without losing focus.
  • Solid interpersonal and key soft skills (communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical‑thinking, etc.).
  • Experience with QuickBooks (highly desired).
Compensation & Benefits

Actual base pay may vary based on experience, subject‑matter expertise, geographic location, and skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package, which may also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
