Overview

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Pershore (Office Based)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a busy team on a full-time, office-based basis in Pershore. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping function and play a key role in producing accurate and timely financial information to support the business.

Responsibilities
  • Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping.
  • Maintaining and reconciling purchase and sales ledgers (accounts payable & receivable).
  • Processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Preparing and completing bank reconciliations.
  • Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with financial reporting.
  • Monitoring cash flow and supporting with budgeting/forecasting.
  • Liaising with external accountant as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
