Bodyshop Manager – Edinburgh

£55,000 OTE, potential £84,000 with bonuses, permanent, Monday‑Friday, car allowance, access to a portion of earnings in advance every month.

Overview

Lead a high‑performing bodyshop site in Edinburgh, backed by manufacturer approvals and modern equipment. Run a smooth, efficient operation with strong people and process focus, in an environment that values career growth and contribution.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the day‑to‑day running of the site – health & safety, financial performance, customer satisfaction and team morale.
  • Set targets, monitor KPIs and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
  • Own the repair and claims process – from job estimates through to final delivery – with deep knowledge of the industry.
  • Recruit new talent, hold daily production meetings and coordinate with parts, reception, suppliers and work providers.
  • Meet or exceed CSI and key‑to‑key targets, supported by a capable senior management team.
  • Lead with strong leadership, cost awareness, productivity focus and the ability to resolve customer complaints.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Bodyshop Manager or equivalent leadership role in the accident repair market.
  • Strong knowledge of the repair and claims process; familiarity with Autoflow BMS and Audatex is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to drive cost and productivity improvements.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
