Qualifications

• Strong understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems, sequences of operation, and field devices.
• Proven experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings and control layouts.
• Working knowledge of BMS platforms such as BACnet, Modbus or Tridium/Niagara.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed BMS quotations including material lists and labour estimates.
• Interpret mechanical, electrical drawings, control layouts, and I/O summaries.
• Develop accurate cost estimates using pricing tools and vendor quotations.
• Prepare technical submittals and compliance statements for customer review.

Skills

You'll analyse project specifications, interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and propose appropriate control solutions that meet client needs.

• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine scope and project requirements
• Prepare detailed BMS quotations including material lists, labour estimates, and control system architecture
• Interpret mechanical, electrical drawings, control layouts, I/O summaries, and project specifications
• Develop accurate cost estimates using standard pricing tools and vendor quotations
• Prepare technical submittals and compliance statements for customer review

Who They Looking For

• Strong understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems, sequences of operation and field devices
• Proven experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings and control layouts
• Working knowledge of BMS platforms such as BACnet, Modbus or Tridium/Niagara
• Strong analytical and estimation skills with ability to develop accurate cost projections
