Regional Recruitment is working with an established building controls specialist based in Oxfordshire, supporting projects across commercial, public sector, and healthcare environments. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled BMS Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Trend and / or Tridium Niagara to support commissioning, project delivery, optimisation, and client support across the region.

This role is ideal for an engineer experienced in BMS commissioning who also enjoys involvement in project coordination, system delivery, and working closely with end clients. You'll be part of a forward‑thinking business focused on modern building automation, smart controls, and decarbonisation‑led upgrades.

Responsibilities

Commissioning & Engineering

• Commission, configure, and optimise Trend and Tridium Niagara (AX / N4) systems.
• Interpret and modify software, graphics, control logic, and system parameters.
• Conduct I / O testing, functional checks, and plant room verification.
• Troubleshoot BMS faults and provide effective technical resolutions.
• Review and work from control panel layouts, electrical schematics, and points lists.
