Job summary

A leading facility maintenance provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to conduct maintenance, operation, and repair of complex facilities and production equipment. The ideal candidate must have 8-10 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a biotech or health-related environment. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic team environment with various technical tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work any shift and be 'on call' via pager and/or cell phone.
• Valid CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance on facilities Air Conditioning equipment.
• Conducting internal investigation, corrections, and documentation of alarms.
• Daily tours and verification of operation of all facilities equipment.

Skills

Experience with power tools and their associated safety procedures

Experience working with and troubleshooting equipment electrical systems

Experience conducting routine maintenance and repairs on automation equipment

HVAC equipment knowledge

Basic electro-mechanical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

8 to 10 years maintenance experience
