A healthcare laboratory organization in Greater London seeks a Biomedical Scientist with HCPC registration and a minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience in Clinical Biochemistry or Serology. This role offers training in both departments and potential for promotion upon portfolio completion. Responsibilities include maintaining laboratory safety and quality, processing samples, and collaboration with clinical staff. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a keen desire to learn and develop professionally. The ideal candidate is HCPC reistered Biomedical Scientist with minimum 2 years post registration experience in Clinical Biochemistry or Serology.
Successful candidate will be trained on both Clinical Biochemistry and Serology departments. We will also consider applicants with less than 2 years post registration experience but are able to demonstrate significant laboratory experience and can be employed as Band 5.
Once the specialist portfolio in either Clinical Biochemistry or Serology is completed, there will be automatic promotion to Band 6. Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary laboratory setting and/or with automated platforms (especially Abbott Alinity) is highly desirable.

NWLP Induction
The NWLP induction will run on the first Monday of each month (provided it does not fall on a bank holiday) and includes laboratory training (for relevant laboratory roles). All new staff must attend the NWLP induction during their first week with NWLP.
