A healthcare institution in Greater London is seeking a Biomedical Scientist for a full-time position within their Cellular Pathology department. The role is on a fixed-term contract until October 2026, ideal for candidates who are HCPC registered and hold a relevant BSc. Department: Cellular Pathology • Band 5 £31,049 - £37,796 per annum pro rata • Fixed-term contract until 13.10.2026 • Full-time 37.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working.
The Cellular Pathology department is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive and experienced individual to take up the post of Biomedical Scientist in our professional and friendly team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The individual will be a key member of the Cellular Pathology team participating in routine and specialist duties that enable the day-to-day operational delivery of the Cellular Pathology laboratory service.
Suitable candidates must be HCPC registered and possess a BSc in an appropriate discipline. The successful candidate will be a professional with strong technical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with staff at all levels. The suitable candidate will work as part of a team of scientific and support staff to deliver a diagnostic service that meets accreditation & regulatory requirements to deliver effective patient care.
