A local government service provider in the UK is looking for a Bid Writer to join their Commercial team. You will oversee the bid process, crafting proposals and ensuring submissions meet client needs. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of bid writing experience and strong communication skills. Salary: £35,412 - £38,220 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

We currently have an opportunity to join our growing Commercial team as a Bid Writer.
You’ll lead the bid process from start to finish, writing persuasive proposals, solving problems, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring submissions are timely, accurate and aligned with client needs.
Day to day, you’ll research opportunities, gather insights from service leads, and produce high-quality content that showcases our strengths. You’ll also manage budgets, support presentations, and help improve future bids by analysing feedback.
You will have a minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience writing bids, strong written communication skills, experience with public procurement processes and tender portals, and the ability to work independently under pressure. You will also be highly proficient in ICT with high levels of attention to detail.
