A leading civil engineering firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead and manage tender opportunities. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. You will coordinate bid submissions and manage tender documentation to ensure timely proposals. The company offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum, along with a company vehicle and car allowance in a hybrid working environment.
Abatec is currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to join a highly respected, multi-award-winning regional civil engineering contractor, who are industry recognised for successfully delivering some of the most challenging, and diverse projects. The business is widely regarded as one of the busiest and most respected civil engineering contractors in the region, with a strong reputation for delivering industry-leading highways and rail infrastructure projects across the South West and Wales.
This is a key appointment within the organisation, responsible for leading, managing and winning tender opportunities, while providing clear leadership and direction to the bid/pre construction team, to ensure consistently high standards of quality, compliance, and timely submission of bids and tenders. Reporting to the Head of Pre-Construction you will play a pivotal role in bidding and winning work.
