Our partner secondary schools in Lewisham are seeking committed Behaviour Mentors to join their forward-thinking, inclusive environments.

These schools pride themselves on their progressive approach to education, ensuring every student feels valued, supported and able to thrive. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, supporting emotional regulation, and promoting positive behaviour strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group mentoring to students needing behavioural or emotional support
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies to improve engagement and learning
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with young people
  • Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and external agencies
  • Tracking student progress and contributing to personalised support plans
  • Acting as a positive role model, promoting resilience, respect and responsibility
About You
  • Approachable, calm and confident when supporting challenging behaviour
  • Able to build rapport quickly with young people
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in youth work, mentoring, education or similar settings is highly desirable
  • A genuine desire to help students reach their full potential
