Behaviour Mentor, Full Time, South Shields

Pay: £89 to £110 per day

A specialist SEND and SEMH school in South Shields is searching for a full-time Behaviour Mentor who can help pupils find their feet again through structure, empathy, and consistent support.

This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with young people and isn’t fazed by a bit of challenge. The staff team is hugely welcoming and uses a supportive, relational approach.

Your day-to-day

  • Providing guidance and emotional support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Supporting de-escalation and positive behaviour techniques
  • Encouraging engagement through clear boundaries and trust
  • Working with staff to implement individual behaviour plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
