Behaviour Mentor - Secondary Schools (Croydon)

Full-time 5 days per week

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work full-time across a range of secondary schools in Croydon. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people to overcome behavioural, emotional, and social challenges and reach their full potential.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, helping them to engage positively with learning and school life. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and personal development, both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support to students

  • Support students with emotional regulation, social skills, and engagement

  • Implement behaviour strategies in line with school policies

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams

  • Act as a positive role model and mentor within the school community
