Befriender/Care Assistant/s to support a man who lives in Crook County Durham £13 per hour

Hours and Pay

14 hours per week £13 per hour

Ideally the 14 hours would be worked across 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) and 7 hours per day (10am – 5 pm) but there is flexibility in this and days/times can be split and this can be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

• Your main duty will be to accompany the person on trips into the community and to provide support where necessary.
• Activities will include but not be limited to going to the cinema, shopping, visiting museums, swimming, bowling, trampolining.

Requirements / Information

• Experience of working with people with autism would be preferred but not essential.
• Client has a bus pass and carers pass so travel would where possible be on public transport.
• Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
