Job description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of industrial batteries and related products. They are looking to bring on a Battery Cleaning Operative to assist with cleaning and general maintenance of forklift batteries for clients based at Heathrow Airport. With a competitive hourly rate and the potential for the role to become permanent over time, this is a great opportunity for an individual with a good work ethic looking for a new role.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and carrying out basic maintenance on forklift batteries at Heathrow Airport
• Working alongside the company’s Forklift Battery Engineer based permanently out of Heathrow Airport
• Developing an understanding of the company’s products over time with the potential of the role becoming permanent over time
• Adhering to all the airport’s Health & safety protocols
• Carrying out any other general tasks alongside the engineer as and when required

Requirements

What is really essential, is that you are a willing and committed individual, who is interested in working night shifts and is ready to working on a temporary basis with the potential for the role to go permanent. You will be required to get a DBS check in order to work at Heathrow Airport as requirement following a job offer being made. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Heathrow Airport.
