Banking & Finance Solicitor

Salary:(DOE) Bonus

Are you seeking exposure to a broad range of high-value banking transactions in a collaborative nationally recognised team. Our clients Banking & Finance group is known for its sharp commercial edge and is the go-to advisor for complex matters acting for major UK financial institutions challenger banks specialist lenders and a wide range of borrowers across the UK Europe and the US.

The Opportunity
  • Advise on general banking acquisition finance real estate finance project finance and asset-based lending
  • Draft and negotiate facility agreements LMA agreements credit agreements and related documentation
  • Act for major clearing banks challenger banks specialist lenders and borrower clients
  • Support private equity management teams and debt funders on a range of debt structures (including unitranche and mezzanine/second lien)
  • Work on real estate acquisitions investments developments and portfolio management
  • Engage in business development activities as part of a rapidly growing national team

What Were Looking For
  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 47 years PQE in banking & finance
  • Strong technical and negotiation skills
  • Experience drafting facility agreements and related banking documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Team player with a proactive can do attitude and the ability to work under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail discretion and professionalism
