Job summary

Job description

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire BD9 6BH

Shifts: Bank Contract 0 hours (Picking up shifts where required)

Pay Rate: £12.21 - £12.47 per hour (increasing to £12.50 - £12.76 per hour on 1st of December)

Role Overview
  • You’ll support adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health.
  • You’ll support them to flourish in a place they call home. You’ll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives.
  • You’ll give high-quality support tailored to people’s needs.
  • You’ll do activities like cooking, art or listening to music, and get out for movie nights and food outings.
  • You’ll provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and documents; shopping. Help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene.
  • You’ll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.
Key Skills and Experience
Essential
  • Good general education.
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve.
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
  • A commitment to undertake training and development.
Desirable
  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care.
  • Previous experience within social care setting.
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks.
  • Confident IT user.
