Job Summary

To work as a Senior Radiographer providing care for patients attending the general Radiology Department, CT and specialist areas as identified in your role.

Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will normally work without direct clinical supervision but will report to the Senior/Superintendent Radiographers within the Department.
  • You will participate in the provision of an on‑call emergency radiographic service for the Health Board.
  • Provide imaging services in the general Radiology Department, CT, and specialised areas as identified in your role.
Qualifications
  • Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively within the multi‑disciplinary team.
About the Department

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Radiology services are provided on three main sites: Princess of Wales, Royal Glamorgan, and Prince Charles Hospitals. The department supports a number of sub‑regional specialties and houses multislice CT, MRI, Cardiac Catheter Lab, and Gamma Camera. Busy A&E units are supported by modular PACS.
