Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working with adults with mental health needs is required.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of supporting people in crisis.
  • Ability to empathise with people with mental health issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to encourage customers with mental health needs.
  • Support progress towards independence in managing mental health.
  • Regularly assess customer needs and update support plans.
  • Develop professional relationships with customers.

Skills

Experience working with adults with mental health needs
Ability to support people in crisis
Ability to work effectively in pressured situations
Experience with records and support plans
Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to obtain
