We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Kirkham, an A‑category D prison located in Kirkham, Preston. The role involves supporting and coordinating a small team by managing planning, overseeing coordination and supporting junior team members. You will be based in the prison’s own Healthcare department and will work alongside a primary care team of 10 staff. The prison has a capacity of 700 males.

Qualified Mental Health Nurse - NMC registration. Evidence of CPD. Experience of complex mental health care. Experience of psychosocial interventions, group work and substance misuse awareness.
Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment. Additional specialist training.
