The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is expanding its internal temporary staffing team and we are looking for dedicated and experienced Bank Healthcare Assistants to support our clinical services. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexibly while contributing to exceptional patient care in a modern, purpose‑built hospital environment.

As a Bank HCA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our teams during periods of increased activity, annual leave and planned absences. You’ll be joining a hospital that prides itself on clinical excellence, compassionate care and a strong sense of teamwork.

We are particularly interested in Healthcare Assistants with experience in:

  • Oncology or Haematology
  • Surgical and Medical Wards
What You’ll Bring
  • A relevant healthcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent) – essential
  • Essential: UK‑based acute hospital experience, with strong understanding of UK clinical practices and patient pathways
  • Recent experience in one or more of the listed specialisms
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused approach
  • A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to different clinical settings
