A leading healthcare provider is looking for a Bank General Practitioner to join their team at HMP Hewell in Redditch. This role involves delivering healthcare to males with diverse needs in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should hold an MBChB or MBBS, be registered with the GMC, and have prior experience as a GP. We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a category B remand prison based in Redditch, Worcestershire. HMP Hewell has a fast paced healthcare environment delivering care to males aged 21+, with a range of needs including substance misuse and long term conditions. Within this role you will be working closely with our senior nurses to deliver care which includes, first night prescribing, discharge prescribing, urgent follow up for duty doctor, general practice and Substance Misuse prescribing. We are looking for a General Practitioner who is a team player and enjoys working with a busy environment where no two days are the same.
Hours
Sessions available will be between Monday to Friday 9am-9.30pm Saturdays 1pm - 5pm or 2pm - 6pm
Salary
This is a bank role with a salary of £89 per hour
