Overview

Are you an experienced Driver wanting to control your own rota with flexibility to work the shifts that suit you? If you are an experienced Driver you can join our staff bank and, after completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available Driving and on-site escorting shifts at The Chimneys. There is no minimum number of hours required, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to retain induction knowledge and familiarity with the service. You’ll be joining a maintenance team with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, and you’ll have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more. Responsibilities

• Drive patients and staff to a variety of locations, ensuring journeys are completed safely and in a timely manner using the most efficient route.
• Drive staff and other visitors to/from the unit as required by the Line Manager. Collect and deliver consumables or assets for the Unit during periods of the day when not involved in other activities.
• Ensure hospital vehicles are cleaned regularly, maintained correctly and safely, and that any damage or faults are dealt with immediately.
• Ensure vehicles are fuelled at all times and keep record-keeping up to date and available when requested.
• Work at The Chimneys Clinic, a 12-bed service providing specialist care to support women with certain diagnoses, and support the multidisciplinary team with mindful practice and engaging activities to aid recovery.
• Contribute to activities that help reduce harmful behaviours and support service users in achieving personal life goals.
