Overview

Bank Diagnostic Radiographer BAND 5

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated, and patient-focused Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographers to join our friendly radiology team as BANK radiographers.

Our services are provided on two sites at the Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals.

An interview date is yet to be confirmed.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to participate in the radiographer shift rota and the out of hours duties on both sites. Main duties include:

  • To produce images of diagnostic quality that are properly identified with regard to patient\'s name, side examined, date of examination etc., in line with trust and departmental protocols.
  • Be adequately trained in the safe and competent use of equipment prior to operating it.
  • To be fully competent in the operation of all appropriate imaging equipment.
  • Use knowledge and skill to adapt your radiographic technique for complicated cases.
  • Be responsible for the welfare and comfort of patients in the department.
