A community health organization is seeking a Bank Community Staff Nurse to join their Responsive Services team in Redhill, UK. This role involves delivering excellent patient care, conducting assessments, and working collaboratively with various health care teams. Ideal candidates should have current NMC registration, be a Registered First Level Nurse, and possess strong communication skills. The position offers both full-time and part-time hours, with a salary range of £31,049 to £37,796 per year plus HCAS.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamicstaff nurse to join the bank workforce within First Community Health and Careworking in the Responsive Services Team.
Responsive Services consists of the UrgentCommunity Response Team, Intermediate Care Team, Virtual Ward and Referral Hub.
This post holder will work within Responsive Services to deliverexcellent standards of patient care in collaboration with Primary and SecondaryCare Colleagues, Community Nursing, Specialist Health Care Teams across FirstCommunity, statutory and voluntary agencies. The staff nurse will undertake theassessment and treatment of patients whoare acutely unwell and requiring support to avoid admission to the acutehospital or those who have recently been discharged home. Providing practicalcare, education and training for patients and carers admitted to responsiveservices.
You will complete assessments in the patients homeand undertake treatments including IV medications, wound assessment, andmanagement. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to promoteindependence of patients to ensure they can remain in their own home.
The candidate will be able to adapt to change andwork in a busy environment. Excellentcommunication skills are essential to enable liaison with all our health andsocial care partners in the management and assessment in the community.
Due to the nature ofthe role it is essential that applicants are able to drive, have a car suitablefor business purposes and have a clean driving licence.
FCH&C is committedto safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and children andexpect all staff to share this commitment. FCH&C will support personaldevelopment through the annual appraisal process and in house training.
The service runs from 8am-8pm 7 days a week, 365days a year, the post holder will be expected to work on a rota basis. Thereare opportunities for both full time and part time hours.
