Join Our Team as a Bank Communication Support Worker!
Are you passionate about supporting deaf and hearing‑impaired students to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a flexible and dedicated Bank Communication Support Worker to join our inclusive and supportive college environment.
In this rewarding role you’ll provide one‑to‑one and group communication support using students' preferred modes of communication across the full college curriculum. You’ll play a vital role in helping students access learning, take accurate notes on their behalf and support their social integration and wellbeing. This BANK role will cover Day time and Evening courses. Variable hours and Days needed.
Your work will involve close collaboration with tutors to ensure accurate communication of course content and participation in staff training to raise awareness of deaf and hearing‑impaired learners' needs. You’ll also act as an advocate for students, promote communication skill development and assist with administrative tasks related to additional learning support.
