A local service provider in North Norfolk seeks an Art Facilitator / Support Worker to engage adults with learning disabilities through creative activities. The role involves facilitating support activities, assisting with art projects, and ensuring care for service users. Candidates should hold an art degree and possess flexibility to adapt their support approach. This position offers competitive pay above the national minimum wage and various benefits in a scenic location.
Reporting to: Seniors; Supervisor; General Manager
Hours of Work: Flexible – zero hours contract. Shifts are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with one hour unpaid lunch break.
Barrington Farm is a unique, independent day service centre, set in 22 acres in the village of Walcott, North Norfolk. Founded in 1988 by the present owner, the centre provides a vibrant and stimulating environment for adults with learning disabilities alongside The Rookery residential care home. The service includes the renowned art centre, working farm and activity centre, and is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. throughout the year.

To assist adults with a learning disability within a day service setting to access meaningful occupation, via the provision of support and assistance. To contribute to an effective service in accordance with legislative requirements, organisational policies, procedures and objectives. While on duty the Art Facilitator’s / Support Worker priorities must be first and foremost toward the care and welfare of their charges.
